SA RADIO LIVE will be the city’s only truly local station,
FROM SWANSEA FOR SWANSEA. Though a station for the whole area, we will still be hugely proud to broadcast from Tircoed.
SA RADIO LIVE will launch at 7am on Monday 30th September, the 50th anniversary of when Swansea Sound started. The date is also significant as it will also be exactly 29 years since The Wave began.

ABOUT US:
Radio Tircoed is a community radio station serving Tircoed, Penllergaer, Pontardulais, Gorseinon, Pontlliw and surrounding areas in the north west of the City and County of Swansea and beyond in to parts of East Carmarthenshire as well as online.

The station, which broadcasts from studios at the Tircoed Village Hall, was founded in 2005 as a Restricted Service License (RSL) station, transmitting on 106.5FM, 365 days a year.
​
The station launched full time, as a community radio station on the
1st December 2008.
​
Programming output varies throughout the day with various music-led, talk and feature programmes alongside specialist output in the evenings and at weekends, sports coverage and weekly bilingual programmes in Welsh/English. The majority of the station's output is locally produced and presented, although some late-night programming is syndicated.
​
Radio Tircoed is run by its own Management Team who are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the station.
​
All radio Tircoed presenters volunteer their DJing skills to run the station seven days a week. Our long standing presenters include Happy Jack, Neil Davies, Dave O' Rourke, Mike Lewis, Wyn Thomas and Karl Burtonshaw. There are many other presenters on the station, each with their own unique styles of presentation.

The station welcomes local businesses to support Radio Tircoed via advertising and sponsorship.
